The spirit of Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed) to serve the nation is difficult when it has to achieve alone. Therefore, Unsoed welcomes the Matching Fund program held by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) to establish a collaboration and strategic synergy between universities and partners. Unsoed encourages its lecturers to participate in the program so that the development of science and technology in the university is beneficial and in line with the potential and needs of business and society in general.
Every year several Unsoed lecturers participate in the Matching Fund program and some of their proposals are successfully accepted. In 2023, six proposals were accepted in various sectors, ranging from agriculture, fishery, creative economy to biomedicine. It shows that the research of Unsoed lecturers that has the potential to be developed with partners has a fairly wide range of themes. In addition, the backgrounds of the partners of Unsoed researchers are also relatively diverse including both the industrial and cooperative sectors.
